The Associate level test is a one hour timed exam while the Professional level exam is 1.5 hours in length.

Autodesk Academic Certification available now

　I wanted to make sure that you all know that students may attain an Autodesk Certified Associate and Autodesk Certified Professional certification status in Autodesk products as a way to distinguish themselves as exceptional users on the tools of their trade.

　I recently took the Inventor 2009 Certified Associate and Certified Professional exams while I was at Autodesk University in the certification lab sponsored by the Americas Customer Learning team. I hope you got a chance to experience the excitement surrounding certification at AU as well. The exams were challenging as they should be if you're seeking to show that you have put your time in on the software. I am sure if you properly prepare, you too can get your Autodesk certification. Studies have shown that users of software passing a securely proctored certification exam are more likely to be promoted, get access to the jobs they desire, and have received elevated pay even as entry level employees.

　Academic Certification is an opportunity for students leaving school or seeking internships to show that they have a command of the tools that they will use in industry.
